Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer

George is the Chief Operating Officer who manages the daily internal and external operations and procedures of EcoAid. Most importantly, George is the founder (and founding spirit) of EcoAid. EcoAid grew from his passion for the environment and it is his vision that started and continues to fire the direction of the EcoAid organization. His vision for EcoAid is a multifaceted one. At the most specific, EcoAid consults and educates our clients on their green house gas emissions, creates custom GHG tracking tools, and provides high quality carbon offsets. George's objectives do not stop with the business arena. His overall goals are both global, involving reforestation projects in Lebanon among others, and local, such as sponsoring the ASU student club, EcoAid Now.

Working in partnership with the company's CEO, George ensures that EcoAid and its staff are functioning in accordance with the company's strategic operations plans. He monitors all services provided by EcoAid and continuously updates the organization's performance systems. In doing so, George assures that all of EcoAid's clients are receiving optimal service, at all times.

George's background is varied. He is a restaurateur and a real-estate investor who grew up in a family business and was basically “in training” for most of his early life. It is this real-world background that gives George his unique perspective and ability to channel his energy into achievable projects. His hobbies include reading, traveling and collecting ancient Roman coins.

His interest in sustainability pre-dates his service as a Peace Corp Volunteer in rural Ecuador where he designed and built (methane capture) biogas plants. He also contributed to the design and rulemaking involving Arizona Public Service’s Renewable Portfolio Standard. While extremely passionate about sustainability as an economic growth engine, Clark tries to add balance to his life by volunteering at Taliesin West, organic gardening and participating in sports and family activities.
